Setting up Crossbow and OpenSolaris?

• Crossbow bfu does not work with the standard OpenSolaris? community edition. Get the developer version (build 55) to use with the Feb'07 beta release of Crossbow
• Install OpenSolaris?
• Install onbld tools from here
• Set the environment variables as follows

  export PATH=/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/ccs/bin:/opt/SUNWspro/bin:/opt/onbld/bin:/opt/onbld/`uname -p`/bin:/opt/sfw/bin:/usr/sfw/bin
  
  # BFU environment vars
  export FASTFS=/opt/onbld/bin/`uname -p`/fastfs
  export BFULD=/opt/onbld/bin/`uname -p`/bfuld
  export GZIPBIN=/usr/bin/gzip
       

• Get Crossbow from here
• Install Crossbow

  # cd /tmp/crossbow
  # /usr/bin/bunzip2 crossbow-example-build.sparc.tar.bz2
  # /usr/bin/tar xvf crossbow-example-build.sparc.tar
  # ./bfu.sh /tmp/crossbow_tmp/crossbow-example-build.sparc
