Dependable Real Time Communications

Project Description

Dependability-of-Service(DoS? ) has become an important requirement for real-time communications. We have developed the Dependable Real-Time Protocol (DRTP), in which each dependable real-time connection is implemented with one primary and one or more backup channels. We are currently exploring ways of deploying the DRTP on the Internet with MPLS and/or DiffServ.
