Congestion and Flow Control

Project Description

One of most important issues in designing a wide-area network is flow control which is essential for performance guaranteed services and also flexible and efficient use of network resources.  We have been developing flow and congestion control schemes that (1) maximize link bandwidth utilization; (2) bound end-to-end delays; (3) avoid buffer overflow and (4) minimize buffer requirements.
