We developed wireless link access protocols using time slot allocation (or polling) or code division multiple access (CDMA), which can support bounded delay, guaranteed throughput (or rate), and guaranteed packet error probability. We are also working on 1) bandwidth reservation schemes to provide limited hand-off dropping probability as a QoS parameter, and 2) QoS adaptation schemes to utilize scarce and unreliable wireless resources more efficiently.
